Notice if hereby given that the Port of Port Arthur Navigation District of Jefferson County, Texas (“Port”) will consider approving a Tax Abatement Agreement with Crescent Bayou LLC , at its Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., at the Port Commission office, 221 Houston Avenue, Port Arthur, Texas.
Crescent Bayou LLC holds interests in taxable real property located within the Energy Reinvestment Zone 1 and is applying for the Tax Abatement. Crescent Bayou LLC proposes to construct an industrial-scale facility focused on the production, conversion, transportation, storage, and export of lower-carbon hydrogen and ammonia, along with related improvements (collectively referred to as the “Project”) within Energy Reinvestment Zone 1. The estimated cost of the proposed Project is at least $5 billion. Upon completion, the Project will maintain a minimum of 100 new full-time jobs.
