
NOTICE is hereby given that the Port of Port Arthur Navigation District of Jefferson County, Texas (“Port”) will consider approving a Tax Abatement Agreement for GT Logistics, LLC, at its Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at 9:00 a.m., at the Port Commission office, 221 Houston Avenue, Port Arthur, Texas.
Golden Triangle Properties LLC and GT Logistics, LLC (“GTL”) are the Owners of separate tracts of the property, and GTL is the Applicant for the Tax Abatement Agreement. GTL proposes to lease from Golden Triangle Properties LLC land located within the GT Logistics Reinvestment Zone in Port Arthur, Texas, for construction of a new Renewable Fuels Feedstock Processing Facility and related improvements (“the proposed Project”). The proposed Project will process and supply feedstock to the recently announced Diamond Green Diesel and Emerald Green renewable diesel plants as well as other potential renewable fuels projects. The proposed Project would also have the capability to receive finished products from the renewable diesel/fuels plants via pipeline and ship those products out via rail or barge/vessel. The estimated cost of the proposed Project is $250 million at this time. The proposed Project would be located adjacent to the existing GTL operations in Port Arthur.
