Driving Directions
From Houston, Texas
- Take I-10 East To Winnie
- At Winnie take Hwy 73 East to Port Arthur exit 828
- As you approach Port Arthur you will cross the Taylors Bayou Bridge. A few miles down the road, you will come to a red light. After you pass the red light, stay in the left lane which will become Hwy 82 and which will take you through the refineries.
- Stay on 82 past one red light at Hwy 87 until you reach the red light at the foot of the MLK Bridge. This is 7th Street.
- Go left on 7th past the railroad tracks to the first red light Houston Ave.
- Go right on Houston Ave. The Port’s executive office will be on your right about 4 blocks down. The Port’s terminal and dock offices will be one block past the executive offices.
- Turn right immediately after crossing the railroad tracks.
From Beaumont, Texas
- Take Hwy 69/96 from Beaumont past southeast Texas Regional Airport into Port Arthur. Once you get into Port Arthur stay on 69 through the city until you get to Proctor Street which is two blocks before the road ends at the Sabine-Neches Waterway.
- Take a right on Proctor until it ends at Houston Ave.
- Take a left on Houston Ave. The Port’s executive offices will be on your right 1 block down. The Port’s dock offices will be one block past the executive offices.
- Turn right immediately after crossing the railroad tracks.
From Louisiana
- Take Interstate 10 West just into Texas
- Take Hwy 62 exit
- Turn left onto Hwy 62. Take Hwy 62 all the way to the end.
- Make right onto Hwy 87, drive through Bridge City. Cross over the Rainbow Bridge
- Take Hwy 73 exit from Hwy 87.
- After passing the Savannah Ave. exit on Hwy 73, move over to the left lane. This lane will do a turn-a-round and merge into Hwy 82 heading South between the refineries.
- Stay on 82 past one red light at Hwy 87 until you reach the red light at the foot of the MLK Bridge. This is 7th Street.
- Go left on 7th past the railroad tracks to the first red light
- Take a right onto Houston Avenue
- Over railroad tracks, you will see a sign to turn right to enter Port of Port Arthur.
